Komedia is situated in the heart of Brighton’s North Laine and Cultural Quarter, neighbouring The Theatre Royal, Brighton Dome and Royal Pavilion, and just a few minutes walk from Brighton Station.
In the interest of customer, staff and performer safety, and to follow government guidelines, Komedia has made the difficult decision to postpone or cancel all events at the venue over the next few months, dependent on developments.
All shows during this closure period will either be cancelled or rescheduled to a new date and ticket holders will be contacted directly by email regarding the status of their show. View the list so far here
If the show you were due to attend has been postponed or rescheduled your ticket will be valid for the new date and no action is required. For shows that cannot go ahead, anyone who wishes to do so can convert their ticket money into a donation to the venue and our staff at this difficult time. Our box office will be in touch to discuss this and exchanges or refund options.
We hope you will bear with us as we work to confirm new dates, provide updates and respond to all enquiries as quickly as possible. Our Box Office team will be making contact via email only during this time.
These are unprecedented times and as an independent, unfunded arts venue we very much appreciate your continued support and patience in this unknown climate. If you would like to help keep us going, all shows later in the year remain on sale so please continue to buy tickets.
We understand, however, it’s a bit up in the air for everyone at the moment so if you are unsure when you will be able to visit us in future but still want to support us, you can also buy gift vouchers online here. Vouchers are valid for a year (from when we reopen) and can be used towards tickets to any shows at Komedia Brighton.
Take care and we hope to see you at the venue again soon.
